A Melbourne-based interior design studio
operating at the intersection of beauty and wellbeing.
I started Lauri Uldrikis Studio after more than a decade working on high-end residential projects, long enough to understand that the homes people remember aren't simply the most beautiful ones. They're the ones that feel right to live in.
My long-held passion is for the way our physical environment affects our health and wellbeing. My practice draws on environmental psychology, biophilic design and Japanese design philosophy to approach space in a way that values restraint, intention, and a deep awareness of the people inhabiting it. It’s a continuous and evolving exploration. It is the studio's raison d'être.
I hold a Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) with First Class Honours from RMIT University, where I now also teach as a Sessional Lecturer.
